Hey AIESEC !!

On January 15th 2011, we had welcoming party for our Trainees who will work in social project in Semarang. They are Onyi Nye from Nigeria, Fan Fan and Amy from Mainland of China. Onyi Nye and Fan Fan will work in SD Isriati Semarang. Besides, Amy will work in SMP 5 Semarang. Three of them will participate also in PBoX ROAR HIV/AIDS that held by AIESEC UNDIP. This welcoming party was held in Loe Dji Cafe from 7 pm until 9 pm. This is a must held event for all the Trainees that come to AIESEC UNDIP to welcome her in the hospitality of AIESEC UNDIP. And later on, there will be more Trainees coming to AIESEC UNDIP to have their exchange experience in Semarang, Indonesia.

This welcoming party was conducted by Reception Team of Incoming Exchange Department and brought to the Trainees and all AIESECers with a warming pleasure. Giving a speech, both the Local Committee President (Gartiria Hutami) and the Trainees said that they are happy to welcome the new Trainees and so do the trainees. They are happy to be a part of AIESEC UNDIP family.

Continued by showing cultural performance, each Trainees showed their culture by dancing and singing their national song and dance. The event was getting cooler that all the trainees should play traditional game (Cublak-Cublak Suweng) with all the AIESECers and finally they sang traditional song of Javanese (Gundul-Gundul Pacul) altogether with AIESECers.
