LC Coaching on Exchange

LC Coaching on Exchange had been held on November 30th, 2008 in Dezone. The aims of this coaching were informing our LC’s performance on exchange to the members and creating analysis to build strategies in order to boost up our exchange number. The participant of this event was about 34 members, including our alumni Mr. Primadi =)

Our LC Coach Friecy, who is Exchange NST (National Supporting Team) of AIESEC Indonesia, shared her experiences of being VP OGX 07/08 in her current LC, which is LC Bandung, on how she managed her team to acquire more EPs, and faced the challenges that she used to have, she also adressed the strategies of some top LCs of AI. The sharing session informed us what was going on our LC, through statistics of AIESEC Indonesia.

The next session was about marketing strategies to attract more Eps from different level, students for development traineeship and recent graduates for another part of traineeship. She conducted a game, there were groups of 4, which was trying to seek the best strategies on how we inform the exchange to our target and attract them. This game had been adjudicated by Friecy and Mr. Primadi. The winners were, in random order, Sembo’s group, khaleed’s group, and Rima’s group.

Last but not least, we want to say thanks for all the participants who had come at the event, Friecy for sharing her inspirational experiences, and of course for Mas Denny who (always) provided a nice place to have a meeting. We always hope that our LC will have 5100% of exchange!!! We always believe it...

Im an AIESECers campaign

“I have helped building international atmosphere.”

“I had the opportunity to develop my leadership skill.”

“I got a valuable experience to sharpen my potentials and to make impacts from them.”

Indra saw in the first place how AIESEC empowers the youth, and saw from close distance how the education system works in Ukraine.

Indra has always wanted to see the world and work with people from different cultures. He always believes that, in this global era, working and interacting with many people from around the world is a must. Especially because he wants to develop his potentials and broaden his knowledge and cultural sensivity.

When Indra was in Ukraine to work as an English teacher, he learnt a lot about English teaching in two different schools. One was a private school, and the other was a language center. These two different types of school gave him knowledge and experiences to develop one of his potentials, which is teaching language. He interacted and cooperated with the local teachers about teaching and education in Ukraine. At the school where he worked, he also got the opportunity to teach angklung, one of Indonesian traditional music instruments, as his desire to promote his motherland’s culture and to create international atmosphere in the places where he worked.

Indra also got involved in many local AIESEC’s activities, especially those related to trainings, team buildings, and cultural events. This role gave him the opportunity to develop his leadership skill, to learn about the local society’s culture, and at the same time helped the AIESEC local committees creating cultural atmosphere, especially for the new members, through many events, conferences, discussions, and trainings.

Indra met many young people with different interests and potentials, but with one similar goal: to develop their potentials and to give positive impacts for the society. His trip to some other cities in Ukraine to meet members of AIESEC local committees and to see the country from a close distance also gave him ideas to write a book about his fabulous life-changing experience when living there for half a year.

Orientation and Motivation Training 2008

This is the time for regeneration..

And AIESEC LC UD proudly presents our 45 newbies...
Finally, after we got 45 newbies, on the last September 19-20, 2008 we held ORIMOT in “Wisma Kemala Bhayangkari”. The event which was held in 2 days 1 night. It had unique concept, “back to school” which all of the members had to wear teachers or students-wardrobes..
The first schedule started at 6 p.m. after the fasting-break for sure, ebcause it was ramadhan.

On the first day EB gave “simple but stunning” materials, so the newbies were not bored to listen to it, for example, explaining AIESEC history by a drama from EB and 2nd year members. As follows, we invited mr. Willy to be one of the ORIMOT’s speaker this year. Mr. Willy took the motivation session which was very inspiring and it made most of the newbies shared their experiences. Two thums up for him!!the last session for the first day was “back to school” party, and the best costume went to Manda (newbie).

The next day, the event began with photo-session and then we got back to the venue and were continuing the AIESEC Department session. In this session the EBs had to explain their own department.

In the 2nd day, we invited one of our BOAs that is Oma Yanni and the founder of AIESEC LC UD, mr.Adi and Mr. Iqbal. Here, they shared about the history of AIESEC LC UD from their year and the development of AIESEC LC UD until now.

ALUMNI GATHERING 2008-"Feel the Memories,,Feel the AIESEC..!"

What a great offer,huh?-We Love u Mrs. Cindy,,we do...).

It's really mean a lot for the next...really thank you, alumni...

TO GO..H.O.T.T.O.G.O.!! WORK HARD,PLAY HARD..It's AIESEC..!

okay...that's all from ALGATH..!! SEE U NEXT TIME...

btw, yang tidak bisa datang, dibawah ini mungkin bisa untuk sedikit mengobati kekecewaan karena tidak bisa menghadiri ALGATH 2008;p,,yea,,snapshots from the event!!! just check it out...(sebenernya masih banyak sih..tunggu upload'an selanjutnya,,okay..)
